BCS Preliminary Mock Tests: 200 MCQs, 2 Hours

Two hundred questions, two hours and half a mark lost for every wrong guess. Let your candidates feel that pressure every week.

The Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination is held by the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) to recruit cadre officers, and its preliminary test screens a very large applicant pool down to those who sit the written exam. The preliminary is a single MCQ paper of 200 questions for 200 marks in two hours, with one mark for a correct answer and 0.5 deducted for each wrong one. From the 50th BCS the PSC revised the marks plan: Bangla and English now carry 30 marks each, International Affairs, Mathematical Reasoning and Ethics carry more, and Bangladesh Affairs carries less. Coaching centres still using the old distribution are training candidates on the wrong paper.
