What cookies we use

We use essential session cookies for sign-in, and preference cookies to remember your settings. We also use Microsoft Clarity, a usage-analytics tool, which sets its own cookies so we can see how pages are used and fix what is confusing. On every student and teacher page, Clarity masks all text and everything typed, so it never records exam questions, answers, names or emails. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell data.

Third-party services

Microsoft Clarity (usage analytics, as above). Google reCAPTCHA on the teacher sign-up page, to stop automated sign-ups. Google Fonts serves our fonts, and jsDelivr serves page scripts. When a teacher adds a YouTube or Google Drive video to a course, that player loads from YouTube or Google and may set its own cookies when the video is played. See our list of service providers.

You can clear cookies in your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in.
