Unique Learning Centre was incepted in 2011 at Thiruvananthapuram. The institute offers coaching and preparation support to students from classes 11 and 12, as well as candidates appearing for various entrance exams such as IIT-JEE, NEET, KEAM, AIPMT, AIEEE, IISER, CUSAT, etc.
Unique Learning Centre conducts practice tests for undergrad entrance exams such as JEE, AIEEE, NEET, and KEAM, among others, which are taken by lakh of students at a given time. The numbers made creating and evaluating exams manually extremely time-consuming, and the digital tests didn’t provide any automated feedback or functionality.
Unique Learning Centre adopted MegaExams’ automated exam creation and evaluation platform and was immediately able to conduct and assess exams more efficiently. This helped the institute save 1200 hours and as much as Rs. 6 lakh in costs a year.
The platform’s continuous and comprehensive evaluation mechanism, along with the ability to conduct customized/personalized tests at a greater frequency, allowed the institute to log and track each student’s progress at various stages. Moreover, teachers were able to create tests by identifying and targeting specific areas of weakness for entire batches as well as individual students. The visual representations of and detailed statistical reports on test results allowed them to access a granular view of batch and student performance.
The online exam portal for students allowed them to attempt the exams anytime and anywhere, on the device of their choice, be it PCs, phones, or tablets. Since tests created on the platform replicate the format of major exams like NEET, JEE, etc., students were able to acquaint themselves with the actual flow and nature of questions asked in these exams. In addition, the students were also able to easily look up solutions to all questions after completing a test, and accordingly work with the teachers on improving specific problem areas.
Over 10,000 personalized tests were taken by students across various exam-centric batches. A number of these students were able to successfully improve their performance in subsequent exams by applying the feedback to better prepare specific subjects and topics they were weak in.
