About IIT Zone

IIT Zone is a renowned coaching institute in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, with qualified and experienced faculty coaching medical and engineering aspirants for IIT-JEE, NEET, and other entrance examinations.

The Problem

Creating exams was inefficient because finding questions was taking up the time of premier faculty which would be better spent teaching students

IIT Zone had been conducting its practice tests using pen and paper, which meant that faculty members had to manually find questions from the vast syllabus for JEE and NEET to create exams. Even with the amount of time and effort spent, it was quite difficult for teachers to find questions covering all topics, and thus, create exams that accurately assessed the students on their knowledge. With a gradual increase in the institute’s batch size, the task grew even more challenging for teachers to build unique and comprehensive tests while driving up overall costs for the institute.

On the other hand, the students had to wait for days to receive the results of their pen-and-paper tests. Given the crucial role of time in NEET or JEE preparation, and feedback from the teachers on their performance.

The Solution

MegaExams helps the institute build and integrate an online testing and evaluation system and access an extensive content and question bank to create smarter exams

IIT Zone has been using MegaExams to evaluate its 900+ students across 25,000+ exams. The platform enabled them to access and use a vast repository of content and an extensive question bank of more than 2,50,000 questions, thus saving them 600 hours a year.

At the same time, by conducting and evaluating tests online, the institute was able to save around Rs. 3 lakh annually. This allowed them to conduct more practice tests across batches. With each test, they were also able to leverage the platform’s intelligent and instant feedback feature to assess each students’ performance in detail and provide them the necessary learning support to improve their scores.
